Really sorry about this but I’ve run into a difficult part of the script, run OUT of a buffer and also am very busy with real life things/other jobs right now. Saint’s Way will be back as soon as possible, I promise!

Hello, yes, apologies for the long hiatus. Things have finally slowed down and I have some time to think about Saint’s Way now and get back to working on it. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing some new pages soon.
Update! 7/1/13
This explanation for Saint’s Way continued hiatus is long-due so I’ll try to keep it as short as possible. As of right now I’m drawing the Steed and Mrs. Peel Ongoing series for BOOM! Studios. Around the same time I started my winter holiday and thought, ‘hey! I can work on Saint’s Way now!’, I was offered this job and Saint’s Way once again got pushed to the bottom of the pile. In addition to that, I’m a full-time student, so I’m juggling freelance work and my student work. Time is very hard to come by.
Going forward with Saint’s Way is still very much on my list of things to-do but I know some changes have to be made if I want to start drawing it again (like … cloning myself so I can work on two things at once).
Initially, I wanted to once again build up a buffer and post every Sunday as I did previously but this of course, would require some time to put together. What I want to know now from you, the readers, is how you feel about me instead posting a page whenever I find the time to squeeze one out – in a much more sporadic and less regular fashion. Would this be preferable – content is given when content is created instead of withheld in favour of a more regular update schedule?
Finally, some very kind volunteers over at amilova.com have started translating Saint’s Way into French. Much thanks to them and their efforts!

Secondly while I love your work I’d rather you succeed in life than update regularly. I’m here because your post popped up in my Facebook feed, so an irregular update shouldn’t hurt you.
Do whatever is easiest for you, it’s worth the wait.

either possibility has its pros, but I myself am willing to take whatever you finish whenever you finish it. I think the only one to really judge here is you and your schedule, so you do what feels most natural, I suppose.

If you decided to upload stuff whenever, I’d prefer ‘whenever’ to be a sunday, so we’re less likely to miss updates and stuff.

You could extend the hiatus until you have a buffer and it wouldn’t make much difference. The problem with erratic updates is the readers tend to loose track of where we are.
Do what you can! Work is more important
Just keep the fans updated and more importantly, don’t let this be too much of a burden for you! Make sure you continue enjoy making Saints Way. You can do it!

I think I speak for most of us when I say we aren’t going to forget about this comic, we will continue keeping an eye open for updates, we will welcome the updates when they come but we will also support your decision. Just continue being your awesome self and let us know what you decide

If it helps, I prefer regular updates when possible. Not knowing when the update is supposed to come just makes leads to fans being disappointed when they check the site early, you know? NO PRESSURE OKAY.
I vote for content whenever you can – I know a couple other webcomics that are like that, too. They are incredibly beautiful and us readers are always happily surprised to see them updated, because we understand that high-quality, sporadic comic is better than crappy rushed comic, or no comic at all.

Yes, please post whenever you create a page. There’s a whole list of great comics like that and it’s understood they’ll update “sometime maybe”. If you know it won’t be for 2 months, it’d be nice if you can tell people, but anything you give is already a gift, so don’t stress out and let it be a burden. Thanks for what you’ve already done, even if you never get to update it again.

Picked up Steed & Peel 4 today and it’s fab. Such deft facial expressions and such accurate likenesses. Well done. It’s a great comic.
